Forest Walk
A guided forest walk with Jessi Fields, a Herbology student and avid learner with Elders/Knowledge Keepers in her community. Jessi will lead us through a rich and earthy direst in Prince George filled with lush greenery and teach us about the local plants that the Indigenous peoples use for food and medicines. A shuttle to and from will be included. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and walking shoes.

Group Mountain Bike
Join us for an exhilarating guided mountain bike excursion at a local trail. Explore a variety of scenic trails, all under the guidance of experienced local rider, Dr. James Card! This is a fantastic opportunity to discover one of Prince George's premier mountain biking destinations and meet fellow enthusiasts before diving into the conference program. The ride is free—just bring your own bike, helmet, and a sense of adventure!

Foundry Tour
Join us for a tour of Foundry Prince George to get an inside look at the programs and integrated support services they provide to help local youth and families thrive. During the tour, information will be shared on accessing Foundry in rural & remote communities where physical centres do not exist through virtual and hybrid options,as well as opportunities for NP and FP practice.

Saturday Evening Social
This year’s Welcome Reception will take place at The Exploration Place Museum + Science Centre. Connect with your peers over delicious food and drinks while exploring the museum’s unique and engaging galleries. Discover exhibits that showcase life during Prince George’s early settler days, the impact of diverse post-contact settler groups on Indigenous communities and the landscape, and how these histories have shaped the region socially, culturally, and environmentally. In addition, we will celebrate the 2025 Rural Health Award winners and nominees throughout the evening.
Shuttles to the venue will be provided throughout the evening. This is an open event for registered delegates only, no guests.
